Loving Awareness: A Retreat for Experienced Meditators

Loving Awareness, practiced as mindfulness and metta, is the gateway to liberation. During this meditation retreat, we will join together as experienced practitioners to quiet the mind, open the heart and see our human life with the eyes of wisdom.
The daily schedule for this course will follow a different format from other IMS retreats: in addition to guided meditations and alternate sitting and walking practice sessions, there will be frequent periods of dialogue and Q&A.
An optional daily session of qigong will be offered by teacher Teja Bell.
Participants are required to have sat at least two silent residential retreats of a week or more with a recognized insight meditation teacher, and have five years of meditation practice. Please document this when registering.
