As women rise in the workplace they face unique challenges. As opportunities expand for women in leadership, the expectations to do it all – balance family, relationships, self-care, and the drive to excel and lead in the marketplace are creating more pressures than ever before.
Our new 2-day workshop provides support, inspiration and education to learn mindfulness and self-compassion skills for approaching gender bias in the workplace, creating life balance, including equal priority for wellness and personal relationships, and explore the power of the feminine in leadership.
Bringing together a community of accomplished professional and entrepreneurial women in the spirit of the talking circles and consciousness-raising groups that drove the Women’s Liberation Movement, we will create a safe space where we can learn, engage and create change through shared stories and experiences.
Topics of discussion will include:
Start With Why – Exploring the power of intention, values and ambition
The Double Bind – Working with inequality in the workplace
Work & Family – Balancing rewarding relationships and professional achievement
Self Care – Integrating wellness, sexuality and inner growth
Friday, May 17th, 2pm – 6:30pm
Saturday, May 18th, 8am – 12:30pm
The workshop is intended to be experienced in its entirety.
