Join InsightLA founding teacher Trudy Goodman and Jack Kornfield for a rare late-morning gathering in the canyon — brunch, conversation, and a little Halloween mischief — in support of this sanctuary.

Nestled in the hills above Los Angeles, the Benedict Canyon Retreat House is InsightLA’s quiet refuge: eighteen acres of chaparral, walking paths, and a rustic house that has held practice, friendship, and rest for our community. This brunch raises funds to care for and sustain that land and house.

Come as you are — or as your favorite spiritual figure, angel or devil, saint or fallen angel. Costumes are welcome and entirely optional.
